What you need to know about the new IES RP-43 Guidance

Lighting is critical in supporting people as they navigate and enjoy outdoor nighttime environments. The new RP-43-22 guidance builds upon the outdoor lighting design process of LP-2-20, looking at the key considerations in lighting for people at night, the importance of minimizing environmental impact through equipment and application design choices, offering designers flexibility in creating a nighttime environment that supports wayfinding, reassurance, safety and engagement.
